2. COLLECTION

We will collect the following personal information from you in order to provide you with the services, games, competitions or information that we offer:

a. First and Last name;
b. Your date of birth;
c. Your email address;
d. Your favourite AFL Team; and
e. Your mailing address, city, state, and postal code.

We do not collect your personal information from any other sources, and we delete, destroy or de-identify any unsolicited personal information that we receive as soon as possible, unless it is unlawful or unreasonable to do so.

User contact forms

When you fill out a contact form to get in touch with us, we will collect your personal information and use it to respond to your query.

When you sign up and create a login with us

When you sign up to our website using your personal details and create an individual member profile, we will collect your personal information so that you can participate in our games or competitions, and your user preferences will be stored for future logins.

3. USE AND DISCLOSURE

We will use your personal information for the following purposes or for purposes which are directly related to these purposes:

a. To respond to your queries or requests for information, feedback or complaints;
b. To provide you with our services;
c. To create your membership;
d. To enable you to participate in our games or competitions;

h. To communicate with you regarding your membership or winnings;

j. To deliver the prizes to you, should you be a winner.

a. The AFL – We are the official AFL licensee, and we may disclose your personal information to the AFL for promotional purposes;
b. Third parties that assist us in delivering, maintaining, administrating and improving our website, games, competitions, and services;
c. Third parties that assist us in holding games and competitions;
d. Our professional services advisers such as lawyers, auditors, accountants and insurers.

We will not share your personal information with any other entities, bodies, or parties unless one of the following applies:

  • You have consented;
  • You would reasonably expect, or have been informed, that information of such kind would be passed on to those individuals, entities or bodies;
  • It is otherwise required or authorised by law, or reasonably necessary for the enforcement of a criminal law or of a law imposing a pecuniary penalty, or for the protection of public revenue; or
  • It may prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to somebody’s life or health.

4. QUALITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do what we can to keep your personal information up to date and accurate at all times as this allows us to deliver a better service to you. If any information we have for you needs to be corrected, you can visit “My Profile” on the TeamCoach website to make the correction.

5. DATA SECURITY

We take appropriate and reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is stored securely.

We take active steps to protect the personal information we hold against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure, and against other misuse. These steps include password protection for all of our IT systems and granting access to personal information only to individuals within our organisation who need it.

We securely store all personal information on servers located in, Australia. We will delete your personal information when we no longer need it.

6. ACCESS AND CORRECTION

You have the right to request us for copies of your personal information. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

We do everything we can to keep your personal information accurate. If you find that any information we hold about you is incorrect, you can visit “My Profile” on the TeamCoach website to make the correction. If you encounter any issues with correcting any personal information, you can contact us using the contact details below, and we will endeavour to assist you.

Please bear in mind that under the relevant privacy laws, there may be situations where we cannot provide access to such personal information. For instance, if it would reasonably affect someone else’s privacy or may pose a threat to someone’s life, health or safety.

For any personal information that is collected by third parties, even when you are visiting our website, it is best to view their privacy policy and seek assistance from those parties directly.

If you make any request, we have one month to respond to you.

7. COOKIES

We do not use cookies or other local storage features on our website.

8. DO NOT TRACK

Our website does not recognise or respond to Do Not Track signals.

9. CHILDREN’S DATA

Our website, services, games, and competitions are not intended to be used by children under the age of 14, except with their parent’s consent. If parental consent is not obtained, we will not issue a username or password.

We utilise third-party applications to monitor and analyse website usage, as well as to automate various processes involved in the development and management of our sites.

From time to time, we may change our privacy policy at our discretion and will advise about it on this page.
